There is antisemitic and anti-israel graffiti all over the place, with a “Heil Hitler” written on a wall in the main corner of the shopping area. The authorities don’t seem to care.

So I was at this place called Študentski kampus, I got greeted by a relatively large fellow who claimed to be president of the Student organization of the University in Ljubljana. He bought drinks, offered me some other substances and then asked me where I'm from. I told him I'm from Israel. Suddenly, the whole vibe shifted. The music stopped, and everyone was looking at me. The until-then friendly president (I think his name was Klemen Petek) screamed something in Slovenian, which I assume mean

We were in Athens and Naxos in April 2026. Athens was absolutely covered in "F Israel" graffiti, and worse... on the pedestrian streets right near the Acropolis, there was vile graffiti we had to pass with our young children: "Jew c*nt baby killers."
