As of September 2026, there have been no reported antisemitic incidents, hostility toward Israelis or Jews, or violence specifically targeting Jews in Eritrea; the Jewish presence is limited to a single known individual in Asmara. The Israeli government has issued a medium threat warning for Eritrea, advising against non-essential travel.
