Jewish/Israeli symbols should be kept to a minimum
As of September 20, 2026, there are no reported antisemitic incidents, hostility toward Israelis or Jews, or violence specifically targeting Jews in Agra, India, within the past year. The Israeli government's travel advisory for India remains at Level 2, advising travelers to exercise increased caution due to crime and terrorism risks. While Agra has experienced other criminal activities, such as a significant gold theft in Mathura district and a cyber fraud ring operating from a call center in Agra, these incidents do not specifically target Jewish or Israeli individuals. Given the absence of local incidents but the country-level advisory, Agra is assessed as 'caution' for Jewish and Israeli travelers....
