In January 2026, two individuals were arrested for disseminating Nazi-related materials and making death threats against President Javier Milei. The authorities seized firearms, ammunition, and items associated with Nazi ideology during the operation. Additionally, in August 2024, a radical Islamic group planning attacks against the Jewish community in Mendoza was dismantled by the Federal Police. Despite these incidents, the Israeli government currently considers Argentina safe for travel, advising standard precautions. There have been no recent reports of antisemitic incidents or hostility toward Israelis/Jews in Mendoza....

Amazing city with amazing jewish community. I was there at hanuka. I felt safe walking around with jewish symbols around the city. The chabad house hosted us for the candles ceremony and it was lovley!
