In my opinion, the Philippines is a very safe place for Jews. You don't have antisemitism when the local population don't even know what a Jew is! There was some 'trouble' in Siargao but video reporting shows it was Israelis getting over excited with the locals there.

This is a double-edged sword. While it's true that the local population are mostly ignorant of what a Jew is, that also means that they are easily convinced of propaganda. I know because I am from the Philippines and I observe what's happening in social media and anti-semitism is increasing.
