Jewish/Israeli symbols should be kept to a minimum
Over the past year Serbia has seen a concerning rise in antisemitic expression, most notably during anti-government protests in Belgrade where demonstrators were recorded chanting "Death to Vučić and all the Jews around him," drawing condemnation from both Serbian and Israeli officials. The protests have been large and sustained, with over 350 people arrested since August 2025, though no antisemitic incidents have been reported in the last 30 days. The Israeli government maintains a 'safe to travel' advisory for Serbia with normal precautions, but given the protest rhetoric Jewish and Israeli travelers should avoid demonstrations and remain vigilant....
