On Sept. 25, UC Berkeley said it would offer Israeli scholar Yael Nativ a teaching position after a settlement over a university finding that she had been denied a role because of her Israeli identity. Separately, state rulings found Berkeley Unified mishandled antisemitism complaints and ordered changes at two schools.
