In the past year, Las Vegas has experienced antisemitic vandalism, including the defacement of political campaign signs with swastikas. In August 2026 a 73-year-old man was arrested for spray-painting swastikas on more than 60 campaign signs, causing property damage estimated at over $6,000. Also in August 2026, Vice President J.D. Vance addressed the Republican Jewish Coalition in Las Vegas amid heightened concerns over Israel and antisemitism. There is no evidence of widespread hostility or violence targeting Jewish or Israeli individuals in the city, and the Israeli government's travel advisory for the United States remains 'safe to travel', but the vandalism campaign warrants continued vigilance....
