As of September 20, 2026, there are no reports of antisemitic incidents, hostility toward Israelis or Jews, or violence specifically targeting Jews in Punta Gorda, Florida, over the past year. Statewide, Florida saw a 9.6% decline in antisemitic incidents in 2025, but vandalism and physical assaults reached record levels, and antisemitic attacks were reported in 2026 in North Miami Beach and Sarasota. The Israeli government currently considers the United States safe to travel, advising normal precautions.
