Jewish/Israeli symbols should be kept to a minimum
In the past year, there have been no reported antisemitic incidents, hostility toward Israelis or Jews, or violence specifically targeting Jews in Vatican City. The Israeli government currently considers Vatican City safe to travel, advising normal precautions. The Swiss Guard investigated an alleged antisemitic gesture in October 2025, but no further incidents have been reported since. The Vatican continues to promote interfaith dialogue and condemns all forms of antisemitism. Pending clearer evidence of improvement, the safety level for Jewish and Israeli travelers remains "caution."...
