In August 2025, an olive tree planted in memory of Ilan Halimi was vandalized in Épinay-sur-Seine, France. The mayor condemned the act as antisemitic. No significant antisemitic incidents have been reported in the area since then. Nationally, France recorded 1,320 antisemitic incidents in 2025, a 16% decrease from 2024 but still historically high. The Israeli government advises travelers to exercise caution when visiting France....
