Jewish/Israeli symbols should be kept to a minimum
As of September 20, 2026, there are no reports of antisemitic incidents, hostility toward Israelis or Jews, or violence specifically targeting Jews in Naxos, Greece, within the past year. However, in August 2026 the Central Board of Jewish Communities in Greece documented intimidation and harassment of Israeli tourists and of visitors displaying Jewish symbols in other parts of the country. The Israeli government's travel advisory for Greece remains 'be cautious when traveling.' Given the absence of local incidents but the heightened national climate and the advisory, the safety level for Jewish and Israeli travelers in Naxos is assessed as 'caution'....
