I had no issues in Romania (Bucharest, Bran, etc.) this year. Iโm not visibly Jewish but it never came up so Iโm not sure about other experiences. There are gorgeous old synagogues, great food, friendly people.

In Romania, I was told itโs massively unsafe and if people hear you speaking in English, there will be trouble. โฆ Completely safe, I see no danger living here.

Romania is a pretty good option as well. Israelis love going to Romania so much that a few places even have stuff in Hebrew (like the Therme spa).
