On October 7, about 150 demonstrators in Amsterdam displayed support for Hamas, burned an Israeli flag and tried to march toward an area with Jewish buildings; police redirected them and the mayor dispersed the protest. On September 19, a violent far-right rally in The Hague included Nazi salutes and antisemitic slogans, with violence directed at police. Dutch police recorded 867 antisemitic incidents in 2025, and a plot to bomb a synagogue was previously thwarted. No recent attack on Jewish travelers was reported. At Schiphol, checks related to the Dutch ban on goods from Israeli settlements have occurred, but reports do not show systematic checks of all arrivals from Israel. The Israeli government advises increased caution; avoid demonstrations and do not bring goods originating in settlements....

Since then the right‑wing has strengthened politically... in Jewish spaces you will of course be fine; but it's in the intermediate public areas... that you would probably want to exercise caution and not display Jewishness openly.

Most of the Netherlands is probably fine. I walked around Amsterdam with a kippah pre‑war and it was fine but nowadays it is probably a bit more risky to do that.
