I traveled around Italy for two weeks, visiting Lake Como, Lake Garda, Milan, and the Dolomites. We explored the country by car and often stopped in small towns along the way. I always walk around with my David star necklace, and luckily I didn’t have any trouble around it... Many italians love Israel and so telling them you’re Jewish or Israeli really isn’t a concern...

(General disclaimer that I wasn’t wearing anything to make me visibly Jewish) The only place I ever felt concerned or unsafe in was Genoa. Otherwise I felt pretty safe.
