I always walk around with my David star necklace, and luckily I didnโt have any trouble around it... Many italians love Israel and so telling them youโre Jewish or Israeli really isnโt a concern...

(General disclaimer that I wasnโt wearing anything to make me visibly Jewish) The only place I ever felt concerned or unsafe in was Genoa. Otherwise I felt pretty safe.
