B’nai Brith Canada recorded 6,800 antisemitic incidents across Canada in 2025; recent reports include targeted violence and antisemitic acts in several provinces. On September 20, a gunman opened fire outside a synagogue in Belleville, Ontario, shooting a police officer; police said the attack was hate-motivated. In late October, police charged a man after he drew a Nazi swastika with gasoline near housing used by Jewish students in London, Ontario. Israeli flags were also set on fire outside a Toronto church in early October. Travelers should stay alert near Jewish institutions and demonstrations, follow local security guidance, and report threats or suspicious activity to police....
